Entertainment Console Raleigh

When you’re renovating, it’s easy to ignore the area around your TV because it can be so challenging to get right. But there are so many stylish ways to create a beautiful space. We have created a guide listing some simple ways to style your entertainment cabinet so your TV can blend into your home’s décor seamlessly.

Frame it

Framing your TV is a great way to style an entertainment cabinet. Use a frame that is the size of your TV to create an expensive built-in look or buy a frame that is a few inches larger than your TV to add depth to your wall space. Paint the wall behind the empty frame black to give your room a cinematic atmosphere while creating a clear contrast from the rest of the wall. Doing this will also make the TV recede further into the background when it’s not in use, so it won’t be unsightly. It leaves you with a lot of empty space on top of your entertainment console, which is perfect if you want a keep a minimalist look. But if that’s not what you are going for, then bring the theme down and decorate your entertainment cabinet with photos of your family and friends.

Create a Gallery Wall

Make your TV into an art piece. Create a gallery wall on the area behind your entertainment center. This will help your TV blend in with your décor and add a personal touch to your home. This technique is perfect for smaller apartments that don’t have a lot of floor space to play with, as it lets you maximize the space you have available. Fill your frames with art, family photos, and sentimental objects and arrange your gallery wall in neatly organized rows using the grid method or randomly using frames of varying sizes and shapes mimicking the salon gallery wall style.

Use what you have

One of the easiest ways to decorate an entertainment cabinet is by framing your TV with books. Colorful books will brighten up a drab console and draw the eye to the entertainment center even when the TV is off. Collect books of varying sizes and colors and arrange them in a rainbow order around your TV. If your console is made from a dark wood, then flip the books to add texture to your space.

Make a Statement

Decorate your entertainment cabinet with big statement pieces that will catch the eye of your guests even when your TV is on. Place these larger objects on the shelves of your entertainment center first and then position smaller accessories around these statement pieces. Get creative and form symmetrical groups of three objects, like a set of wall sconces, matching vases, and a pair of candlesticks, for example. Doing this will prevent your entertainment center from becoming cluttered.
